lots of pics I know...but I thought it a shame not to share each one. my mum and dads place is my home from home, my little slice of heaven.
And now with us heading for spring it is a buzz with all the pretty things. my kids think its a fairyland thanks to the many hidden fairies/trolls/gremlins and animals that nanny and pa place around for them to find. we have morning or afternoon tea on the back verandah every other day and solve the problems of the world. its my refuelling station, my mental health hospice.
yes I know im a lucky gal.
it also happens to be a fab B & B.....anyone visiting the far north of NSW and need a bed let me know!
hope everyone has a great week and that the warmer weather is sneaking in wherever you are.

What a lovely place to just be..........
ReplyDeleteWell I'm sitting here looking out at my dilapidated garden and dreaming of one like your mum and dad's Al, it all looks so beautiful. Can really feel Spring on the way now. Think my favourite would have to be the pot of daisies, just love it. Can you get the lowdown on how to get my orchid blooming like their's? Mine refused to bloom this year, maybe I need to separate it? Your pix are fantastic, hope this gorgeous weather keeps up! xx
ReplyDeleteA little slice of heaven indeed! Oh my, what a BEAUTIFUL place!! I can easily see why your kids find it magic, too. It's so great to have a refuge like that, a refuelling station is a really good term for it. You're so lucky to have spring now, we currently have late summer/ early fall and at this time I always wish I could go back a couple of months! Enjoy it!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week! x
A wonderland of colour! Speaking of colour I have emerald and teal for you to choose from xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a magical garden and that verandah is gorgeous. How lucky you and the kids are to have that little piece of heaven to visit every day ( and especially since you are not having to do all the work that a garden like that must require), Breath of fresh air compared to Betsy's yard which is compacted mud with a side order of nails. mel x
ReplyDeleteStunning, stunning, stunning - I love everything I'm seeing here - as if the flowers were not enough the cast iron setting and wicker chairs are fab as well... I adore the orchard collection!

Wow, what a beautiful place Alison. I will certainly make a note for when we come over one day. Such a beautiful spot. xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou ARE lucky, what a beautiful spot to sit the world to rights with your folks!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos, all of them. xxxxx
Al, you know how to bring sunshine to my day when I most need it! Its been a 'mucho stresso' week down here, but I feel soothed and calm just looking at those superb pics. All that's missing is the G & T. Once all (that can be done) has been done and dusted down here I might need a bit of R&R in that delightful B&B. XX
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, love the orchids!
ReplyDeleteLove the patio. Looks so amazing. You´re right you MUST share it!
