simple nature in a simple nest...

feathery proteas from the farm...I could only bring myself to pick the dried, spent but not dead flowers. something about the wintery colours. they are now at home on my kitchen window sill. enjoying their last days. there are fresh red and pink blooms waiting for me but I`ll pick them another day.

its the simple things that are drawing me in at the moment.

  2. Wonderful lighting, just love your snaps! Al, you are so talented, I think you could even produce these superb shots with a 1960s Kodak Instamatic. BTW, what is your camera of choice these days?

  8. Aren't they fluffy?
I didn't know they went like that.
I love proteas and the like (you know, leucospermums) - although I had a fair bit of trouble growing them down south.
Should have more luck up here though - Mum and Dad have a mini protea farm across the road from them.
