as my dear pal Sue would say " I went oppo!"
believe it or not the oppo expeditions have been few and far between of late. now that my darling boy has a driver, my traipsing around the countryside has been curtailed some what.
but I do still get out sometimes......
this is what I found yesterday as I did the rounds of my locals.
I spent a total of $13.50 , got to check in with my fave oppy ladies (hi Lorraine x )
and then my favourite bit....sharing my finds with Max and her pals.
The yellow jug and blue pyrex will be presents for my mum. I love finding things for her and her kitchen.
the jelly moulds made me squeal a little I will confess....have wanted some for ages.
and I just remembered that I forgot to take a pic of the sweet vintage praying Mary picture I found.
yep more for the collection.....Nic is a little worried.
will take a pic for next time.

ReplyDeleteHa! Kinda curbed your op shopping. Blah! Blah! Blah!
ReplyDeleteLucky you didn't, a very impressive haul my dear, very impressive indeed.
Nice jugs. Ha..ha..ha..

Delete.. and there's MORE! You've had a bit of bonanza of late, dear friend, and bargains to boot. I thought I'd hauled home some great finds in the past 2 weeks - alas, your treasures leave my lot looking a little piddley! Love it all, adore the Pyrex - a fav pattern. I have the lidded divided dish (which is a bit useless but nice to look at!).
ReplyDeleteAs Alison said, Nice Jugs, but I suggest a visit to your friendly plastic surgeon to add some symmetry to the equation!
Nic is a little worried? I think we ALL are! I have this vision of you appearing in a future blog post entitle "I've had a career change" to explain why you are wearing a habit.
x

DeleteYou always find the good stuff. I'm jealous.
ReplyDeleteall those goodies would have made their way home with me too.

Love it all, but where do you put it?! Do you have bottomless cupboards? Mine are all busting out so lovely big things like those jelly moulds and squat jugs are a no no. I dream of cupboard space...
ReplyDeleteI will admit to one or two suitcases under the bed!!

ReplyDeleteOh my that blue pyrex dish is simply to die for!! As for jelly moulds my legs feel like jelly just looking at them, FAB!! xo
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT ALL BUT THAT SWEET COTTAGE SCENE IS DIVINE! AL YOU HAVE SUCH LOVELY JUGS XXXX
ReplyDeleteOh I'm having heart palpitations! Those jelly moulds are gorgeous. I've been wanting to start collecting those for ages and every time I go to get one it's usually at an auction where the dealers whip them up. So great you found them at an op shop and for a bargain! Love the pyrex dish too. That blue is loverly. And the jugs. Oh so much to drool over here. hey, you should drop into my Second Hand Styling this week, it's all about Collections. This whole post is one big op shop collection - the very best kind:) Happy weekend to you x
