be still...

I am so craving colour at the moment, probably due to the lack of it outside these days. still raining here...im not counting the days anymore.
Frankie danced herself silly on the weekend, thanks to the new ra ra skirt she received from nanny. she went to honkers and my oh my the goodies!
another granny rug and some groovy teacups from our community cinemas bric a brac sale. what a great day it was... raffles, cake stalls etc....they raised over $5000!!. FAB!
my find of the day was this typewriter for $3.00, and it works like a dream. so many people stopped me on the way to the car, telling me stories of the days they typed on one just like it....all women of course....was lovely.
look mum my happy face!....Charlie has been learning to distinguish facial expressions (this neat knack doesn't come naturally to him). he is doing really well so far and loves knowing that he is getting them correct.
this shot was snapped just as he threw the couch cushion out the window, apparently he wanted to see the rain spots on it?
I of course roused on him and this is what I get "happy face"....and yes it worked!

hope you are all having happy face days!
Axx

  2. Your kids are so beautiful. That little Frankie looks like a very big personality. Her skirt is amazing & the big question is. . .would I look too much like 'Mutton' if I was to wear this about town? Who cares, Love it, I am inspired to find a happy skirt. Love your pics & I am always jealous of your oppy finds, seriously how can your town have so much to offer, here in Perth-CRAPOLA oppy shops.

Another "Granny" hauled home? Welcome to the club of granny love!
Interesting designs on those cups, and love the old typewriter keys - love those old finger bashers from the dark ages, and which I blame for my knackered thumb joints.
