ive been good santa.....

Oh Santa I have been good this year....



so good in fact that i gifted myself this beautiful vintage doily bunting!
How cute is it!.....it was made by the very talented Karen at Restyled Vintage
pop over and check out her shop.....lots of cute and pretty!!


i just love it....this wasnt the intended home for it....but once i opened the package i just had to hang it straight away....and here it has stayed


it pretties up our room perfectly.....guess what my mum said??.."knickers on the line"....well you cant please everybody!

i cant sew a stitch but would i let that stop me.....


these pics below are my brothers and i....mum dug them up recently. they were taken at my nannas at a house a few streets from where we live now.
i remember that cat was called "big tom" and scared the bejesus out of me!

not vintage but damn cute....ive got about 300 of the buggers....dont ask! (ebay fail!)


stone fruit!....say no more, its like a drug....and yes eating a kilo of cherries in one day will have dire repercussions! 


and may i introduce you to our christmas angel!. the wings are a permanent fixture lately however the halo is long gone!!

  4. Love the bunting and the apples. 300, really? Perhaps a garland of these too then? And the wings, we were there about 2 years ago, just wings and a nappy back then- she is gorgeous. mel x

    1. lol yep 300...i thought it said 30 for $15.00....which i thought was a good deal....imagine my surprise!....but a garland....why didnt i think of that!!....it will be a kilometer long but who cares! Ax

  8. Love the bunting Allison, even if it does resemble Grandma's retired knickers .. oops, forgot I'm a Grandma myself, so I should say more like MY Grandma's knickers (not that I ever looked at hers very closely!).
    Adoring those apples, might have to hire the entire "crop" from you early in the new year to impress the neighbours; mysteriously, our apple tree is only sporting about a dozen apples this year despite (or because of) lots of TLC.
    That cute-as-a-button Angel is suddenly looking very grown-up in your recent blog posts. I know you don't want to hear that.
