you know that moment when you walk past a room in your abode and the light is just right and you think...grab the camera....then the kids ask for something....the kids break something...the kids spill something and the dog vomits. then of course 6 1/2 hours later you think....thats right the light was good...oh well maybe tomorrow?
well damn it yesterday morning i ignored all sorts of chaos and grabbed that camera...i wasnt letting that morning light go to waste any more. i took a stand!
and am so glad i did.
this little granny followed me home from vinnies...i said she could live with us for a little while.
sometimes if you ignore the howling toddler wrapped around your ankles long enough you can slip into a little vintage granny love coma......
hope you all have a sunny weekend.
hangin with tania today

Great granny find. And looks so pretty with the light streaming through the window x
ReplyDeleteyou always find the best things, tempted to come op shopping up your way, but you have probably already snagged all the good stuff!
ReplyDeleteLove those mirrors!
oooooooooooh LOVE those mirrors Allison
ReplyDeleteWhat a Granny you've snagged, she looks elegant in that light. She has a bit more class than the usual Granny, a Katherine Hepburn type of Granny (even though K.H. never did become a granny herself). Cute wall display, Allison, and very nice mirrors.
ReplyDeletelol I read that as "shagged" to start with Sue....made me laugh!!!

Gorgeous granny and simply beautiful photos. Completely know what you mean about the light and small children. And had a feeling about your boy from something I read on your blog, always nice to find a fellow kindred spirit where complicated children are concerned! mel x
